About Vision Scotland

Vision Scotland is delivered as part of Screen Facilities Scotland’s vision to promote Scotland’s screen and media production industry to the world.
Objective
To deliver an industry expo enabling Scotland’s screen and media production industry to showcase its talent, services and facilities; find new business opportunities; meet potential clients and collaborators; communicate with existing industry colleagues and network new professional connections; discuss and share business and industry intelligence; explore industry innovations and trends; engage in knowledge transfer; celebrate work and specialisms.
Format
Vision Scotland takes place in a digital format for 2021 and aims to deliver combined live and digital events in the future.
Using conferencing software provided by Whova, attendance at the event is accessible via computer browser and via mobile devices. The platform allows attendees to visit the exhibitors, engage with sponsors, attend industry event sessions, take part in discussion forums and other activities, and connect and communicate digitally with all participating in the event.
Audience
This event is aimed at production professionals from any location who work in screen media such as advertising, broadcast and streaming television, commercials, corporate, film, interactive media and games.
Sponsors
Our sponsors are key partners in delivering Vision Scotland by involving their unique position and brand. Their contribution and engagement with the event aligns their interest and support with our overall aims.
Sponsorship support is welcomed from all interested organisations who wish to support increased screen and media production in Scotland.
Exhibitors
Our exhibitors are the essential ingredient in our showcase of what Scotland offers local, national, and international producers of screen content including film, television, interactive media and games, advertising and commercials, and corporate media.
Exhibitors can be any size from sole traders to multi-national companies; of any specialist area within screen and media production; and must operate from, be based in, or have a genuine presence in Scotland.
Interest is welcome from all interested companies and professionals who would benefit from exhibiting their work. Vision Scotland also welcomes exhibitors from trade and industry bodies, business and support organisations, unions, charities, initiatives, etc.
Attendees
Registered attendees are an important part of Vision Scotland. The work of the screen and media production industry takes place within an intricate array of professional and creative networks.
Vision Scotland is an opportunity to become more familiar with Scotland’s industry, and connect with all participants and attendees. The digital platform does away with the need for printed business cards and all registered attendees are able to easily make contact with fellow delegates; engage in topical discussions, join Q&As and chats, contribute to polls and surveys, and attend virtual informal activities.
Registration is free for industry professionals. Vision Scotland is targeted at: producers, executive producers, line producers, production managers, location managers and scouts, directors, assistant directors, coordinators, assistants, service providers, facilities providers, equipment providers, skills and talent providers, but anyone working within the screen industry will benefit from attending.
A number of tickets are also allocated for students studying a screen/media craft or skill. Registration to attend is FREE.
We look forward to meeting you.
